SUZUKI KATANA 1100 GSX1100 GSX NOS Project

For a number of reasons Ive decided to sell my gorgeous long term project Katana 1100. This is an opportunity for someone to finish off what could be one of the nicest Katana 1100s in the UK.

Every single painted panel on this bike is brand new genuine Suzuki NOS, fairing, side panels, mudguard, tail piece the lot. The only panel not replaced was the tank which was in original paintwork and quite nice. But not quite perfect so I had the tank professionally repainted with genuine Suzuki decals. I have pictures of the tank before it was painted and you can see how good it was.

Wheels are still on the original Suzuki paint and are in lovely condition. They dont need any further work. Tyres currently fitted are high spec and brand new. Deep brace polished metmachex swingarm, original included. Brake calipers front and rear are brand new Brembos and obviously mint, front mounting brackets (from webike Japan) included. The original brake calipers are included and have already been stripped and powdercoated. Brand new Dyna Coils and red Taylor leads already fitted. The front forks have been fully rebuilt with all new genuine seals and new chrome stanchions. All new bearings and rubbers throughout. The seat is still on its original cover and whilst not concours it is certainly nice.

I have yet to find a cover that exactly replicates the originaluntil that time the original can stay put. The wiring harness fitted is original and mint, it has not been messed with in the slightest. Switchgear both sides is brand new NOS.

Frame has been powdercoated silver and is mint. All brackets etc have been powdercoated and are mint. Footrests are brand new Tarozzi rear sets, still in the box.. Please Note the shockers currently fitted in the photo are brand new NOS Marzocchi piggy backsthey are not refurbed they are brand new! These are not included and the bike will come with a quality set of Hagon chrome shocks fitted. Rear black plastic mudguard is included and is excellent & uncut! Original carbs and original full set of standard exhausts included. Ive not touched the original carbs and whilst they look nice enough on the outside I would assume they need fully internal cleaning as they havent been used for a good while.

Ive a mountain of NOS parts that will come with the bike, all rubbers etc and loads of other bits and pieces that at this moment in time I just cant recall. I will likely add to this advert over the coming days. Rear disc is brand new Suzuki NOS. Chain guard is brand new Suzuki NOS etc etc. The bike was originally an Italian import which probably explains the original good condition.

It had also genuinely only done about 16000 miles. The bike is not currently registered but is on the Nova database and I have all the correct paperwork for it making UK registration very easy. The engine is obviously not fitted in the bike and has not been touched and although low mileage it needs attention. It looks like the rotor has spun off the crank and took the woodruff key with it.

I know I wont get that back but please dont insult me with daft offers. These will be completely ignored.

These bikes in mint condition are heading towards 10k these days and this will be one of the nicest and best condition Kats out there. Both engine and frame numbers are perfectly clear and untampered with and match the paper work! If you need any pictures of anything just ask. Cash on collection only or direct bank transfer.
